Tidey & Co settles dispute with prominent events venue

Tidey & Co has recently settled dispute with prominent events venue in England in a legal dispute concerning the interpretation of contractual clauses. Tidey & Co were up against a law firm with a reputation for providing “first class advice”. Managing Director Kyle Tidey said “compared to our usual highly contentious disputes this was settled relatively quickly and cost-effectively in my view. I have to say the lawyers on the other side of the dispute were keen to find a way forward which was acceptable to both parties (as we were) which is refreshing. It is also a welcomed change, as usually the first letter we get nearly blows up our inbox with the number of accusations made by the other lawyers. I would say this was a case where common sense prevailed and our respective clients benefitted from a conciliatory approach”.
